Events & Trainings
We provide community-based training, peer networking, and support.
Providers from all disciplines who serve children birth to five years and their families in Alameda County are welcome to attend training and networking opportunities at First 5. Continuing education units are provided for free to registered nurses, licensed clinical social workers, and marriage and family therapists at all qualified trainings.

Registration, Fees, and Location
Registration opens two to four weeks before the training date. New users will need to set up a user account and password. For technical assistance with registration, please contact the First 5 Helpdesk at (510) 227-6929. Registration is required for all trainings. There is no fee to attend.
Unless otherwise indicated, trainings take place online. The link to join a meeting will be sent to registrants the day before and an hour before the event.

Grievance Policy
While First 5 Alameda County goes to great lengths to assure fair treatment for all participants and attempts to anticipate problems, there will be occasional issues which come to the attention of the First 5 staff which will require intervention and/or action on the part of the staff.
